A bartender, cook and the owner listen to the problems of their patrons daily, little do they know what the staff are concealing about their own pasts.
Quietly situated in a corner of Nishi Ogikubo in Tokyo is the Three Star Bar.
It’s a small place run by three former high school classmates: Ryoichiro Amamiya the good-looking bartender, Satoshi Nakauchi the silent chef, and Naoki Kobayashi the owner.
The menu says simply, “as you like” - whatever you feel like eating. Drawn by a mysterious appeal, people burdened with life’s trials and tribulations walk into the bar, are offered cocktails and dishes made from canned goods, and leave feeling a sense of fulfilment.
